How long and when is the retest course?
Sunday afternoon 1:00 p.m. to about 5:00 p.m. at the same location as your original course or our alternate locations - Sheridan College Oakville or the Sheridan College Brampton (Davis Campus), 7899 McLaughlin Rd. Brampton. You should arrive about 12:45 p.m. to get oriented and select a bike. Please bring your regular driver's licence, a valid M1 or higher motorcycle licence and your retest authorization form. You will be merged in with the existing class and receive the same instruction and coaching as they do.
Please see these maps.
What kind of motorcycles can I choose from?
We offer the same selection of motorcycles as before. You may use any bike not already allocated. Some students will want to use the same type of bike and some may choose a different bike. We will try to provide your first choice but that may not be practical in some cases.
I have my own bike now. Can I use it?
As with the main M1 course, you must use a course provided bike.
When does the test occur and what is in it?
The test will be the same as you were exposed to before. The initial period for about the first 90 minutes will be structured practice and coaching. After a break the test will begin. As before, each section will be explained and demonstrated before you ride it.
Will I get a chance to practice?
You will get about 90 minutes of pre test practice including individual and group coaching.
What is the fee?
The fee is $50 plus HST, payable by Amex, MasterCard, & VISA. No refunds. Transfers require a new registration in the desired course and payment of new fee. On-line registration only.
What are my chances of passing?
Success rates are high. Most students who come back are more relaxed the second time and do better. Sometimes it is just a bit of extra coaching that is needed. Come with a positive expectation.
What happens if I am still not successful?
You may book for another retest but you may want to consider taking the More M1X Riding Time course. See the More M1X Riding Time pages for details
