What kind of motorcycles can I choose from?
We offer a choice of small-displacement (100-175cc) in sport bike, cruiser or standard style. They are light, manageable, and plenty of fun!
What is the fee?
The fee is $150 plus HST payable by Amex, MasterCard, & VISA. If you later decide to take the full course a $40 credit will be applied to the full course. Please remind us by email (email@example.com) before registering for the full course for details on how to apply this discount. On-line registration only.
Does the course run rain or shine?
It sure does because we live in the real world. We will, however, hold or cancel the course when lightning or snow becomes a safety issue. Extenuating circumstances outside of our control may also result in the same. It is recommended you bring rain gear if there is the potential for rain.
What do I have to bring to the course (clothing)?
Helmets (3/4 style) are available. You may also bring your own helmet in good condition that hasn't been dropped or in a previous accident and meets DOT certification. An acceptable minimum requirement helmet covers most of your head (no beanies, it's for your own good!), usually known as a three-quarter helmet. Full-face helmets are strongly encouraged. If you are borrowing one, please make sure it fits snugly, as helmets that are too loose are pretty much useless at protecting the head.
Heavier leather gloves that cover the wrist and have full fingers and back. A sturdy palm area is important.
Heavier boots that cover the ankle, fit well, and don't have a high heel. Absolutely no high-tops, running, tennis, or open-toed shoes (we've seen it!) will be accepted. Steel toed safety boots are acceptable, but should be avoided as they make it harder to feel and operate the controls.
A sturdy, heavy, long sleeved jacket (example: real motorcycle jacket, leather, denim, sturdy winter coat) that fits properly when seated on a motorcycle. Windbreakers, sweatshirts and hoodies will not be accepted. The zipper or buttons must be able to securely close the jacket.
Long, sturdy pants such as jeans or riding pants. No workout-wear or other thin track pants, leggings or sweat pants. Distressed areas and exposed skin are not acceptable. The pants must be intact.
What licensing do I need?
You are required to bring an Ontario Drivers licence (G, G1, G2, M1, A, B, C, D etc.) on the Saturday.
Who are the students?
The course is for complete beginners, 16 years of age and older. It is also for people who have never been on a bicycle and need to develop 2 wheel balancing skills. This mini course is suitable for potential riders of any age.
Differences in language, hearing, height, speech, and state of health can usually be accommodated.
Where are you located?
Please see these maps.
What is your policy on CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS and REFUNDS?
Due to the price we will not be offering cancellation refunds.
Is there a waiver?
All students will be required to sign a waiver. Those aged 16 & 17 must bring a parent or legal guardian with them for the first portion of the training.

For safety reasons, students who are not wearing the appropriate equipment will not be permitted to ride and will be withdrawn from the course. If students are withdrawn under these circumstances, they will not be entitled to a refund of fees.
